We compared the Visiontek Radeon HD 3870 X2 Overclocked Edition to the standard ASUS Radeon X2 which is not a factory overclocked product. As you can see, the overclock does very little to aid performance, at least in Crysis.

The Visiontek Radeon HD 3870 X2 was also only slightly faster than the GeForce 9800 GTX, while in some instances it was actually slower. The GeForce 9800 GX2 did command a steady lead over the Radeon HD 3870 X2 throughout the Crysis tests as expected.
